Ingredients

Tea Base
  • 4 cups water, divided 3 cups for steeping, 1 cup for blending
  • 3 bags family-size black tea bags or 6 regular ones
Peach Blend
  • 2 ripe peaches peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1.5 teaspoons stevia powder or to taste

Method

  1. Brew the Tea: In a medium saucepan, bring 3 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for 15 minutes. Remove tea bags and set aside to cool slightly.
  2. Blend the Peaches: Add sliced peaches and 1 cup of water to a blender. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  3. Combine Everything: In a 1-gallon pitcher, pour in the brewed tea and peach blend. Add stevia powder and stir well until dissolved.
  4. Top Off with Water: Fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water until full. Adjust sweetness or strength as desired, then stir to combine.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve over ice with peach slices or mint for garnish.

Notes

To easily peel peaches, blanch them in hot water for 30 seconds, then transfer to cold water to loosen skins.
Substitute stevia with honey, agave syrup, or simple syrup to taste.
Try using frozen or canned peaches (in juice) when fresh aren’t available.
Use green or herbal tea for a lighter or caffeine-free version.
Store in the fridge for up to 4 days. Shake or stir before serving.
