Ingredients
  

For the Sauce Base
  • 32 oz Italian dressing Use a high-quality brand like Olive Garden™ Signature
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated preferred
For the Chicken
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use evenly sized pieces; halve thick breasts lengthwise

Method
 

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Italian dressing and Parmesan cheese. Stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the crockpot.
  3. Pour the dressing-cheese mixture over the chicken, coating all pieces evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on Low for 7–8 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Optional: Shred the chicken in the pot and stir to coat with sauce.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, stir in 2 tablespoons of cream cheese after cooking. Add vegetables like sliced bell peppers or mushrooms during the last 2 hours for extra nutrition. Leftovers are perfect for wraps, sliders, or pasta.
