- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the Italian dressing and Parmesan cheese. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in a single layer in the crockpot.
- Pour the dressing-cheese mixture over the chicken, coating all pieces evenly.
- Cover and cook on Low for 7–8 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Optional: Shred the chicken in the pot and stir to coat with sauce.
Notes
For a thicker sauce, stir in 2 tablespoons of cream cheese after cooking. Add vegetables like sliced bell peppers or mushrooms during the last 2 hours for extra nutrition. Leftovers are perfect for wraps, sliders, or pasta.
