Ingredients
  

Oreo Crust
  • 20 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Caramel Layer
  • 12 oz caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
Crunchy Chocolate Topping
  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • flaky sea salt for finishing

Method
 

  1. Pulse Oreos into fine crumbs. Mix with melted butter until fully moistened.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch tart pan, covering the bottom and sides.
  3. Spread caramel sauce evenly over the crust. Chill for 15 minutes until slightly firm.
  4. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second bursts. Stir until smooth, then fold in Rice Krispies until coated.
  5. Spread the chocolate–cereal mixture over the caramel layer. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and chill at least 2 hours or overnight.

Notes

Use a metal tart pan with a removable bottom for easy slicing. Warm caramel slightly for smoother spreading. Avoid freezing—crispy topping becomes chewy once thawed.
